APPLICATION

While this brake is made more specifically for the Mosin Nagant family, it can be used on any 7.62 caliber rifle with 15×1 RH threads.  The muzzle of a standard Mosin Nagant 91/30 barrel is approximately 14.85 to 14.90 mm in diameter.  Simply thread the end of your barrel by using a 1) M15x1 right hand die, 2) M15x1 7.62 caliber die starter, and 3) die stock.  You can rent one of our threading kits here.
